The Winchester Mystery House is Offering a Free Virtual Tour

Winchester Mystery House

Everyone sheltering in place can now take a virtual tour of the infamous Winchester Mystery House.

The Winchester Mystery House has been regaining a lot of public interest due to the movie Winchester, which is a fictional retelling of the events that transpired in the house.

It’s also the only supposedly haunted location that was actually built with the help of the spirits that haunt it. Built by Sarah Winchester who consorted with psychics and spiritualist while it was being built. She believed that unless she followed their demands then her bloodline would be cursed.

She was under the belief that she and the house, were plagued by the spirits of those killed by the guns that her husband made. The house which has 10,000 windows, 2,000 doors, 161 rooms, and 40 staircases many of which go nowhere has become a tourist destination and hotspot for paranormal enthusiasts.

And because of the recent COVID-19 pandemic it like many other places has had to close its doors to guests, so they’re instead offering a free virtual tour.
