The Coin Leaving Ghost of Maidens, VA

In Maidens which is in Goochland County, in what used to be Cambell’s General Store a building that dates back to the late 1800’s there is some odd occurrences going on. And not one that many would think of when talking about hauntings.

You see the owners and other tenants of the building have reported in finding change every morning left at the side doorway, the one facing Perkinsville Road.

Could this be specter paying back his credit from back when it was still a grocery store? Or could is it a local resident with a strange sense of humor? Either way it’s odd.

Though stories of ghosts and other spirits leaving small coins are abundant in both folklore and the stories of paranormal investigators. So much so that there are a lot of speculation about it, and why it happens at all. Though as of now no one has a concrete answer.
